Privacy Policy
Key information about personal data, privacy and the technical operation of the Findmerce website.
Translation notice: this English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data provided in connection with contact with Findmerce is Przemysław Langner, operating under the Findmerce brand. For data protection matters, contact contact@findmerce.pl. Full service provider details are available at the end of this document.
2. Data we may process
Depending on how you contact us, this may include in particular: name and surname, email address, company or store name, website address, information about the e-commerce platform, number of products, message content and basic correspondence metadata.
The mini-audit form does not store data in a Findmerce database. It opens the user's email application with a prepared message. Data reaches Findmerce only after the user sends that message.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries, preparing a mini audit or quote, and taking steps before cooperation – where the contact aims at entering into a contract, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Managing business correspondence, organising contact and protecting against claims – the basis is the controller's legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Compliance with legal obligations – where applicable, the basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Recipients and infrastructure
Data may be entrusted to providers supporting Findmerce with hosting, email, security and technical services, only to the extent necessary to provide those services. The current website uses OVHcloud hosting and email infrastructure. Findmerce does not sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
The current website does not load external analytics or marketing tools and does not transmit visitor data to such tools. If technical infrastructure or future services involve a transfer outside the European Economic Area, it will be carried out only using a mechanism permitted by the GDPR.
6. Retention periods
Correspondence relating to enquiries that do not lead to cooperation is generally kept for the time needed to handle the matter and then for no longer than 12 months, unless longer retention is justified by the protection against claims or another legal obligation. Data related to an established cooperation is retained for the duration of the cooperation and then for periods required by applicable law or until relevant claims expire.
7. Browser storage, theme and cookies
Findmerce currently does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics or other cross-site tracking tools.
If a user manually switches the light or dark theme, the website stores only that selected preference in browser local storage (localStorage) so the requested setting can be remembered. If no manual selection is made, the website follows the system/browser prefers-color-scheme setting without storing a theme preference.
The saved preference can be removed at any time by clearing the site's data in browser settings.
8. Technical logs
The hosting server may automatically create standard technical logs needed for security and proper website operation. They may include an IP address, request date and time, requested resource and basic technical browser information.
9. Your rights
To the extent provided by the GDPR, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
10. Voluntary provision of data
Providing data in a message is voluntary, but without contact details and information describing the matter, it may not be possible to respond, prepare a mini audit or quote, or start cooperation.
11. Automated decision-making and profiling
Findmerce does not make decisions producing legal effects for people contacting us through the website solely by automated means and does not profile such people for advertising purposes.
12. Changes to this document
This policy may be updated as the website develops, infrastructure changes or new functions are added. If analytics or marketing tools requiring consent are introduced in the future, they will be activated only after an appropriate consent mechanism has been implemented.
